Going to Seed

This clover field looked solid Hot Pink from a distance but when I got up close I could see that the clover flowers were quickly going to seed. Sometimes a close-up photo isn't the best view.

Ellie's last soccer game was this morning; she enjoyed playing and she was a little more confident today.

This afternoon we went to a Celebration of Life gathering for a beautiful friend who gracefully declined for 10 years with a rare brain disorder. She gave her skills as a doctor generously to disasters around the world after she retired from a successful career in the Operating Room. It was a lovely service.

Tonight we sat around the new firepit in Ron's backyard; several of his friends joined us...it was a nice gathering. Then our daughter arrived later to spend a few days with us.

Now, time for bed.
