There's a hole in our campervan!

We are switching from the original passive ventilation hatch to another that includes a fan and can actively change the air, outwards or inwards.
So stage one is to remove the original hatch. This was less simple than all the videos suggested because it was glued in place, rather than being screwed together.
 In any case it has now gone!
The rest of the day was spent removing the black grungy bitumastic glue from the frame, which took a long time and a lot of elbow grease.
Fitting the new fan starts tomorrow...
Fortunately I had plenty of time because the White Nights have now arrived in this part of the world!
The extra picture was taken at the darkest time, shortly before midnight, and the sky is still light. The stars are invisible. Now we have a month of steadily lighter nights until Midsummer, and arrive back at this point a month later, at about 20 July. Shortly after that the stars begin to appear, as dark nights return for the next ten months.
