Autumns last gasp

This afternoon the country area of Rosewill was erecting a history board outside their old school that closed in1939. Once more I was asked to go and photograph the event. A wonderful way of preserving history in all these country areas. The building is still very much in use as a social building for the area. It was followed by an amazing country afternoon tea . We sure needed the hot cup of tea to warm up. It was such a cold afternoon and grey skies
After that i took a long way home on many country roads.  Stopped and photographed this tree which is obviously reluctant to give up its leaves
