Marks

I attended my local Church of England parish church this morning where a United Reformed Church minister came to Preach with a View at a Methodist/URC joint service. Ecumenism is alive and well here! 
She kept my attention throughout the service but I was intrigued by the marks on the pew where I sat made by children from a long time ago.
Had I been with them I think I would have noticed what they were up to.
