Lots...

Lots of things to say today,

1. A fairly sleepless night due to noise outside my house - usually v.quiet.
2. Somebody, as yet we don't know who, decided to drive full pelt into a house just around the corner.
3. It knocked one of the house walls down.
4. I cannot work out how they did this as it's a driveway off the road and just before/after a corner. 
5. The house people are fine and not hurt. Their car was also written off.
What a mess.
6.I heard a lot of it but didn't realise what had happened until 5:30am when I decided to go out early as I couldn't sleep.
7.Lots of police & fire engines as I went past _ I assumed it was a gas leak. It wasn't. The owners were outside and thankfully not hurt.
8. Off I went for a drive/walk. I found this lovely swallow waking up.
9. Home & to the news it was a car that had gone into the house.
10. Many people offered to help out, but at the moment, there's nothing we can do.
11. Out again later on & a friend told me that sand martins were starting to build burrows in a massive sand pile at a local res.
12. I went up there & watched - just gorgeous.
13. House martins also there gathering mud.
13. Dilemma as to what to do? - Tomorrow the work force return & I can already seen the sand pile as less, with no burrows...
