Still Here!

This red morph Eastern Screech Owl has been in the wood duck nest box ever since we arrived on the Cape last week.  Surprisingly, he's been spending much of the day looking out of the hole, although he's frequently sleeping.  It's obvious that he enjoyed a meal recently, due to the remnants on his bill.  I'm including a shot of him soaking wet as an extra.  Either he was out hunting during the heavy rainstorm we had yesterday, or the box could use some waterproofing.
