Iranian Rice

We should have called in at a supermarket last night to buy cooking cream, but neither of us could face it, so I ordered it online. It arrived promptly in the morning. It's been a very good morning for deliveries because the Lavylites order I placed earlier in the week also got delivered!

Farzan had been in touch a couple of weeks ago, suggesting a meet-up with Pauline. We met at her house and got treated to her speciality Iranian rice (my thumbnail). G cooked butter chicken (hence the need for cream), and we bought shammi kebabs from Studen Biryani. We had quite the spread!

The nice thing about meeting in someone's home is that you can chat without looking at the clock. We ended up being there for five hours, talking about some big issues.

Back home, and I could not imagine eating ever again! G did a snack meal which we ate watching a Netflix documentary about Audrey Hepburn.
