Last day.

This morning, after yesterday’s walk, we were all feeling a bit stiff so a lazy day was on the cards.
After a leisurely breakfast we decided a drive would be a good idea so with nowhere in particular in mind off we went.

 We drove through Glenridding and on to Patterdale (the roads were surprisingly quiet). We headed up Kirkstone Pass where we stopped and had coffee, we later went over the “Struggle “ a steep and winding road that leads you down to Ambleside.

On our return to Phoebe we start preparing for our homeward journey tomorrow.

All in all we have had a wonderful week in the Lakes.
