Garden visitors
Open Gardens today and these are two of our visitors.
Phew! Now we are exhausted. But it’s all in a good cause- Artink central, a charity providing help and support for people with a range of problems.
We reckon we had 151 visitors, something of a record, despite the rain in the morning and overcast in the afternoon.
Joan (right) is with Bella her rescue dog from Romania and Stuart, our friend wearing his new smart red shorts hoping to catch the eye of the visiting film crew for BBC Beechgrove gardens. But they never came up the hill to see us concentrating instead on activities around the centre of the town.
As usual we met lots of old friends on return visits and many new ones, some of whom had walked from the town, a distance of more than a miles up a very steep hill.
One of our oldest visitors was Roy, an inveterate walker, now 86 years of age.

M collection of photos of wildlife in our garden, which he hung suspended from shrubs where the animals frequented the area, proved to be a popular attraction.
