Just for the Record

Another wild flower encountered for the first time.  Not the best of images, but not the best of weather either.

I am familiar with the common figwort but this one is the yellow figwort, Scrophularia vernalis. 



It has probably been growing beside the coastal path for many years but I just hadn't stopped to look closely before.
