Well that was quite a day. Early afternoon Dave kindly took Rufus and me to the vet for his second vaccination against kennel cough, distemper etc, which as the first one did, left him feeling a bit tired. That makes two of us as recent and ongoing dental work is proving continually painful making sleep illusive and woefully inadequate . Interesting moment of the day has to be that, back from the vet and as a result of 'Googling' it seems that Rufus is a Kokoni - a small Greek breed of companion dog. He certainly fits the description - both physically and in character. Perhaps I should have named him Koko?
Then late afternoon it was my turn for unpleasant medical treatment when for the third time this week, it was back to the dental surgeon. Back home early evening, lower jaws done, so double the discomfort. It was, not surprisingly, a very quiet evening for us all, including garden cats Nelson and Cleo who sometimes aren't garden cats at all.
