Poppy

A busy day. Work this morning and Alan came with me for the 2nd client at the request of the client as her husband has quite advanced dementia and felt he might need distracting. Then off to Staines to pick up dogs supplements then to Egham to pick up a carriage clock that needed repairing. The  original recipient was given it in 1809. The case needs some repairs too. when we arrived at my friends house she was flushed and a little tearful but they were tears of joy as her partner had just proposed to her. Of course she said yes. I was the first to know and must keep their secret for now. so please for her. Her comment was I never expected to find love again at 61 years of age. her husband passed a few years ago after a battle with cancer.
Home and a well deserved coffee.
Adam phoned this evening and I think he will pick us up at the airport in June.
Alan is at evening class to night and has taken the clock with him.
