The fountain!

In all the time we've lived here, I've never seen the fountain on Albert Bentley Square in action. A couple of weeks ago, the Minx sent me some footage of it in full flow, but by the time I was next down, it was off again.

Today, I came home from the office at lunchtime and - lo and behold! - there it was, spurting and splashing away. Fantastic! I love the sound of water, and it looks fab, too.

This evening was our pre-conference dinner, for our speakers. I can't say I much enjoy this kind of thing, but fortunately the Minx is brilliant at it, and I did already know a couple of the guests, so I had an enjoyable evening chatting with them.
