Stavanger

Our first port of call is Stavanger. We arrived early this morning so had time for a wander around part of the beautiful old town before our trip. Our trip today was along the Lysefjord to Pulpit Rock. We found the name interesting as we have a Pulpit Rock at Portland Bill at home. The cruise along was lovely - so relaxing. We stopped off at a cafe for coffee and Norwegian waffles which were great. Pulpit Rock was very impressive - just a tad higher than ours! 
After our trip we had plenty of time for another wander around the cobbled streets of Stavanger before boarding our ship.
