SEALS

It was nearly impossible to choose a photo from this day of the trip.

Not only did we spend the main part of the day on the lovely isle of Lindisfarne, wandering around the ruined priory and walking the circumference of the island, we also went on a sunset boat trip out to the Farne Islands wildlife spotting. 

Puffins, guillemots, kittiwakes, razorbills, gannets, cormorants... So many birds it was impossible to even guess at the number. And seals. Hundreds of beautiful sea puppies that sang and sploshed and flicked their tails at us. I took faaaar too many photos of seals and I can't delete any of them!
