Iris WK322
‘Iris’ is a fishing creeler built in around 1870. Used by 4 generations, it is now in the Strathnaver museum.
Apparently there is a community/forestry initiative that is building a new one for the community using the original build techniques.
It’s not so different to one of our skiffs - but no plywood or epoxy in sight!
