Constance Spry

Rose time is coming! Constance Spry is just about the first this year, up against the kitchen wall where it is a little bit sheltered. She has plenty of buds so I am excited to see how she develops!
I spent quite a while weeding in the main border and it’s not looking too bad, although it’s very dry again rather like last spring. It was a hot day too. I’m reluctant to start watering already!
I had a phone call with Helen, just back from Australia and still coming down to reality. They will be up to collect Misty on Saturday and I hope they will be pleased with her slimmer profile!!
