Best Friends

Hubby is away today (very rudely woke me at 5:30am as well on his way out!) to a conference in Edinburgh. We had my friend's twins (4) round at 9:30am while she went to a meeting, then they stayed for lunch. Given that the weather was rubbish on and off, we decided to "treat" the kids and get a bus into Aberdeen.

We don't bus anywhere, it takes a ridiculous amount of time and taking a buggy on is a bit of a joke. This was Krystal's first time (she's 2) and Kory's 3rd time (he's 4), but he was too young to remember other times.

The older 3 insisted on holding hands around town - Kory had a female on each side and he looked like the cat who got the cream! Loads of people were stopping and commenting how cute it was.

The journey home confirmed why I don't get buses, we had to wait 40 mins in the rain for one (they're meant to be every 10 mins) then before we got to our stop we got thrown off because someone else needed on with a buggy. We were 2 stops away. Bloomin' jobsworth. And they wonder why people prefer to take cars.
