The Leaning Tower of Laurie

‘Relaxed’ was today’s MM theme thanks to our brilliant host, ApolloFly. The first thing that comes to mind for me is chillin’ in the warmth and dozing off on the patio. Hard to beat that kind of relaxed. It was also harder than I thought it would be to take a selfie with my eyes closed.

Our church singles group met for the monthly birthday luncheon. I was the last to arrive because I was working on yesterday’s blip which I didn’t have time to post.

For some really weird reason, I ordered the only non-Mexican thing on the menu. Who orders a hamburger at a terrific Mexican restaurant? My tummy is telling me that I would have been better with beans.

Blanca and Sol Arre cleaned the house today so I’m thinking about taking a shower and putting on my pjs. Is 6:00 too early?

Thanks for all of the comments and sprinkles recently. I know that I was bouncing around with backsies which is really hard to follow. I appreciate you hanging in with me during this rough patch.

There are many places which claim to be the home of the first hamburger. I grew up in Hamburg, New York. We claim it as ours and celebrate BurgerFest every year. In fact, BurgerFest was voted the 15th best specialty food festival in the country by USA Today.  Take that Texas, Connecticut, St. Louis and Hamburg, Germany!
