Purple iris

A day at home today, preparing for our trip to Gorges State Park in western North Carolina, tomorrow, where we will be meeting up with Jen for a long American Mothers Day weekend. Jason is teaching Summer classes, and isn’t as much into the great outdoors as we are! Roger was getting the grass cut before we left, and I had to do some grocery shopping and load the camper. I blipped my beautiful deep purple iris round the mailbox at the front of the house.
