The Bulmer Brick & Tile Company

We had a great day out with a group from the Victoria & Albert Museum in Suffolk.  The most fascinating visit was to the Bulmer Brick & Tile Company which has been making bricks in one form or another and under a succession of management since the 15th century.  Today, there are three generations of the same family working in the business which makes to order bricks and tiles for the renovation of historic buildings.  Coincidentally the Gentle Author yesterday published an account of his visit there last Autumn.
