Today was another rainy day, and hope the last for a while. We searched Martina Franca and Cisternino in vain for the monthly antique market, much like last week’s efforts in Ostuni.

We wandered about streets we’d never taken, including Via Macchiavelli, which was rather nice and well maintained. Another sign confirmed that the street was named after Niccolo himself. Who knew it would be so nice?
