Back blip

A bit tired this morning at breakfast as we enjoyed our poached eggs and toast and said our goodbyes to Alan’s brother A and son M and to John and Liz, David’s brother and wife. Posted Bb’s rented kilt back to Scotland at the post office in the Co-op and his own new skean dhu (bought on his last trip to Scotland and posted to England with the hired kilt to Bb’s sister in England) back to our house in Barcelona. Complicated? Yes, a tad!

A wee wander in Stockbridge and dropped off our wedding pressie. Drive back to Gatwick was fine. Panic at the gate to the plane when Bb was told he couldn’t travel on his passport because, despite still having 6 months till the expiry date, the issue date meant that it was over 10 years old! Brexit regulations just changed! Thankfully, our permanent resident Spanish cards saved the day, but it was a bit stressful.
