How Very Novel!!!

After hearing a lot of good reports, me and my lovely hubby decided to try out the Waterloo Gardens Teahouse in Penylan, Cardiff for the first time. And we were not to be disappointed.
We had some lovely sandwiches followed the most delicious and unusual cakes. I had courgette and lime cake and my hubby had beetroot, citrus and wholemeal cake. Both were very delicious.
They serve an amazing selection of teas; I stuck with the traditional english breakfast but my hubby was a bit more adventurous and tried ginger and lime! He loved it. When the waiter brought us our teas, in teapots I hasten to add, he put these timers down on the table and explained that the green one was the 3 minute timer for my hubby's tea and the orange one was the 5 minute timer for my tea!! I never knew there was such a thing as tea timers!
