A frosty morning …

….. ….. ….. with mist rising off a pond formed by a rivulet. There was ice on puddles too. A pukeko posed for me at the far side of the water - in Extras. It was a lovely clear morning, sunny too and everything seemed sharp & clear. There’s another image in Extras, which I usually call a ‘chocolate box’ photo; scenic!

One of my neighbours took me out for lunch today! I felt thoroughly spoilt. He’s very ‘old school’, with ideas that really aren’t in vogue any more, and which I agree that the world would be better reclaiming! That makes me ‘old school’ too! We had a great lunch; calamari, twice-roasted potatoes, chicken & salad.
