Histories

Today's image is from a small group visit to Wortley Top Forge, a small industrial museum a few miles to the north of Sheffield.  Our guide - Gordon - is in his late 80s, and proved to be the proverbial mine of information about local history and metal-working.  Going around in a group didn't always make for particularly easy photo opportunities - apart from this one, which I'm pleased with.

Otherwise... RIP Tina Turner, a woman who outlived the abusive relationship with Ike and went on to great things. Here she is at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 (probably with an annoying advert first):
