Day 3

For our Golden Anniversary our son and his family arranged a 2 hour pottery session 20 mins from where we are staying in France. We had a laugh and it was brilliant fun. Not as easy as it looks! Hubby made 5 pots and so did I but 2 went in the bin! It felt like ‘The Great Pottery Throw Down’!! We chose the colours we wanted and Sandra the Potter will colour and fire them then post them on to us. It was a wonderful afternoon. We were also given some euros by family to enjoy treating ourselves on holiday and so we had a wonderful meal at a Creperie this evening. In conversation we said it was our 50th anniversary last week and they put a candle on our dessert which was amazing!! See extras! Going to large French market in Dinard tomorrow. My dear Mum is going back to the care home tomorrow so that’s also made my day!
