More bus adventures

Still enjoying the novelty of the bus pass. Today we headed to Southbourne, changing in Bournemouth where the blip of these large red damselflies was taken. A lovely ‘in the pink’ walk (2nd extra) along the coast to Hengistbury Head, with fabulous views down to Mudeford and the dunes (3rd extra). On this walk we can see in the far distance both Old Harry and the Needles on the Isle of Wight. Excellent fish and chips in the Haven at Mudeford, with entertainment from lots of starlings and fledgings on the lobster pots (first extra). We have another stop for ice cream  in the gardens in Bournemouth - a lovely day - I have definitely caught the sun
