Taken up residence

The bluetits have been ousted!
It was sunny all day and got over 20C this afternoon - and still was when we went for our evening run, a bit of a shock to the system.
I spent the morning doing housework, most unusual for me. We have visitors tomorrow night so I had to make sure there was space for them, (fortunately they only need one room) and the main part of the house was at least reasonably clean and tidy. I won't need to do a lot more before our holidays, now.
After lunch I sat in the garden with my knitting and a book before doing a bit of watering, we need some rain. I then prepared tomorrow's meal before going for the run and much of the evening has been spent on church things on the laptop.
