Loe Lake

I asked our B & B host for a suggestion for a walk this morning and she suggested theNational Trust grounds at Penrose just south of Helston. The walk goes right around the Loe, the largest freshwater lake in Cornwall and also encompasses walking across the Loe bar on the coast. There were lots of areas to walk under the cover of trees and it made an interesting 7.4 mile walk all the way round. The extra shows the impressive Penrose House.
