Biodiversity in the Graveyard
Greyfriars Burial Ground in Perth: A sign ... tells visitors that the burial ground is being managed as a "biodiversity bank", in which wildflowers, butterflies and insects are encouraged to flourish: and that it will be cut at the end of the summer after the flowers have seeded. ... Only a broad fringe alongside each of the paths running through the burial ground is kept mown...And that's a good thing imo.
