… at Fort River Reserve this mostly sunny afternoon. We were there fairly late, but nonetheless did the full mile-long circuit.
Birds were scarce - it was afternoon and windy. But we had a few good sightings. Our first was a winter wren which jumped up from the undergrowth and perched on a nearby branch, singing away. We also had a brown thrasher jump onto the path railing.
