Italian goat...

...of the less destructive kind. A fun sculpture made by an Italian lady potter who lives on the Ligurian coast. This is Mr Goat, we also have Mrs Goat and Baby Goat.

It was raining this morning in Italy - in fact it's been raining almost non-stop since January - so it's not just England :-)) It means that the well is full to overflowing, which is good for the summer (last year it nearly ran dry), the wild flowers in the olive groves have gone berserk, and the terraces need strimming.

We plan to drive back to England next week but the wheel bearings on the car sounded worrying, so this morning we took it into our local mechanic, and topped up the groceries in the supermarket while he was working - great jobs to do in the rain! Maybe our holiday will start tomorrow...
