Mellow yellow!

I had a camera on a tripod trained on this flower all day. As a composition you understand, not as above. I sat back under my sun shade, feet on the table as i had tipped back my chair onto the anti-tip legs. I felt satisfied that once the sun passed over my composition would be in the shade and free of ugly shadows.
I sat and watched for many hours until at last the sun passed over the flower, (just in time as nap time fast approached 5pm), or so i thought. . When at last i came to edit my chosen image (post nap 7pm) i saw with horror, i had completely misjudged the depth of field, leaving part of my composition out of focus. Therefore a huge crop would be needed to rescue todays image. I have added the unedited version in extras.
Incidentally although pretty this cinque foil is a deep rooted pest. We do not spray anything so elbow grease is needed to remove
