At last

the cygnets have arrived, seven of them! About a week or so later than usual but we saw them and quite a number of ducklings on Coppice Pond at the end of our walk this morning. 

A lovely early walk in short sleeves, the hint of early coolness soon disappeared as we climbed up above the cricket field. Then through the lovely dappled woods above Low Park.

Feel overdressed now as I’m going to sing at the funeral of one of our past vicars at out church in the village.
