A long day

Backblipping here.

A long day, but everything worked out OK. I always get pretty stressed with airports and travelling, but we reached our destination of Fuerteventura safely around 7pm. Getting the hire car and then figuring the right road out (after having had to negotiate getting out of the parking lot without a ticket) took a bit more time than expected, but we eventually reached Gran Tarajal, met up with the apartment owner’s helper successfully and unloaded our bags before going out to quickly get a few supplies at a 24 hour supermarket for a simple evening meal. I grabbed a quick blip which is not at all representative of how I looked carrying the shopping back! Our omelette was eaten on the balcony accompanied by some of our “welcome pack” - some lovely Cava - listening to the sounds of the ocean which we looked forward to actually seeing in daylight in the morning. Very late to bed, tired but eventually relaxed.
