Rose Chafer and the Daisy*

I think he's a rose chafer - a sun lover like me and sparkling dynamically in the morning sunshine. The ox eye daisies are looking incredible at the moment too and they might be blipped tomorrow,

Talking of sun-loving, it's been another sparkling day in West Cork reaching the giddy heights of 22C. Actually a bit too warm to do much though we've hacked back some goat willow and managed not to fall in the pond. Whilst enjoying lunch al fresco a huge heron alighted on said pond, on the look out for frogs I guess, and he looked so prehistoric, like a small(ish) pterodactyl.

Two swims taken - and we can now get in without shrieking too much.

* New book title? Or possibly one of Talpa's pub names.
