Focus on our last full day in Iceland, a visit to the national park of Thingvellir, where the ancients held parliament and ‘Europe meets America’. Geological it’s the place where the divide of the tectonic plates is visible, really a remarkable sight.
We also visited two houses today; first the one of the cavepeople, later in the day the house of the Icelandic author Halldor Laxnesss.
