Bird watching Bertie

It was such a lovely sunny day with enough of a breeze to keep the midges at bay. I really should have spent the day gardening, but other jobs got in the way. That’s the way things go sometimes, or perhaps it’s subconscious avoidance tactics on my part.
Bertie and I enjoyed the sunshine on our usual afternoon walk and the wee fellow posed beautifully for me. (He was actually watching birds in the trees behind me.)
