Off they go!

It's been a l-o-n-g day! About ten o'clock this morning our daughter rang to ask if we could possibly go over and help mind the Young Master (and little Miss B when she came home from Nursery). "Of course!" we said. We knew they'd be busy packing ready to go to a Bank Holiday weekend festival. Poor young Mr B hadn't realised they'd be packing the entire contents of their house. But you have to when you have little ones, especially a baby!

Eventually, we waved them off in their VW Campervan. Both children smiling in their baby seats and the driver and his wife smiling in the front. We then stayed longer to bring in one washload, do and peg out another, empty the dishwasher and so forth. We'll be returning in their absence to do more little jobs and make sure it's all spick and span for their return in a couple of days.

We also managed a flying visit to Grantham for me to pick up hearing aid batteries, and for Mr PP to order new varifocal glasses to his latest prescription. After that, back to the young family's house to collect their one remaining guinea pig who is staying with us for a few days in her 'caravan'. Pigdora seems happy, and will be less lonely with us. Will still have to pop over every day to feed their fish!! So glad we moved here!

Nearly bedtime.
Zzzzzzzz.....
