Verbena

Our verbena is opening! I always loved the wild purple ones that just grow in the veld. Surviving against all odds.

Cold & wet day. Still struggling to breath & swallow & my chest muscles are sore from coughing.

Very busy at work. Forgot that I was in court, people lying, people unable to make decisions, people being stupid &/or difficult, more people lying. No wonder I prefer dogs as company.

C restored my faith in the human race (or at least some members) by cooking venison steaks braised in red wine & onions served with the leftover veggies from yesterday's braai & salad. Enjoyed thoroughly with Arabella Cabernet Sauvignon.
