Grey Heron

There was only the youngest female heron waiting for me this morning. I was delighted to get a chance to spend time with her. She is always pushed to the back and gets very little when the older ones are there. She was taking full advantage of the fact she was getting all the fish. She eventually flew off but came back to the viewing platform for some more. At that point the middle female flew to the water's edge and got a feed as well. There were 3 crows around who also got some!
Looking at this shot, she does seem to be moulting so maybe the wing feather is just waiting to drop off!
