An idyllic morning in National Trust woodland admiring more Small Leaved Lime trees than we had expected to find and searching for Daphne mezerium shrubs.
Whilst it would be good to go for Spring in France as we once did, we have to face the fact that old age has turned us into stay at homes. I can no longer drive because of vision problems and it is too far for Mrs. K. To drive on her own. We have given up flying as a tiny contribution to keeping the world habitable for our grandchildren and in any case we would be unable to hire a car when we got there because of our age.

But we are lucky enough to live in a beautiful place with natural beauty a short distance away in every direction. Life is good.
