Instructive and Exciting
Having a weekend of Round Tuits and today we got down to Newent - only 25 minutes away - and Tony Boydell's Board Game Museum. This is largely Tony's personal collection having spilt out of the house into a shop unit or two. Tony is a successful boardgame designer, known particularly for the game Snowdonia.
We took along some vintage games magazines for the museum and came away with a couple of games (modern-ish ones that were for sale) including Formula Ovine - a hand-produced large-matchbox-sized on the theme of sheep racing, but mostly I came away with memories rekindled, of games from university days, mumble years ago.
