Cow parsley

The hedgerows are full of cow parsley and hawthorn at the moment giving the impression that everything is dusted with a light sprinkling of snow.A couple of weeks ago they were full of yellow gorse. Thats what I love about living in a rural setting - the everchanging palette of colours. A few weeks ago the rape seed fields were bright yellow and now they are green, the barley was green and now has a blue tinge, the grass for silage was rich green but now that it has been harvested it is a fresh lime green as the new shoots come through.
