It’s FriYay!

A busy day today. The Ards Man is at the boatyard buffing the keel of the boat in preparation for anti-fouling.

I was at a funeral first thing this morning, which was a surprisingly lovely experience with old-fashioned hymns (In the sweet by-and-by…) and then had to dash to do some shopping for a BBQ this evening before having lunch in Bangor’s Heritage Centre. I called in to Glenlola Collegiate for a quick chat with some former colleagues (who are still at the ‘chalk face’) before heading home.

It was beautifully warm and tranquil in the garden, so I poured myself a glass of Prosecco and kicked off my shoes. Bliss followed. :-)
