Garden visitors

It was a special service at church this morning, with 5 young people being confirmed into membership of the church. Our choir director had chosen a lovely anthem with them in mind, based on the verses from Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
In the afternoon, we went cycling on the Little Miami trail, starting from Morrow and going as far as the new bridge they are building at Kings Mills, 13.2 miles return. When we got back we had a cup of tea out on the patio, and I took my camera out to photograph the birds. Top left is a Mourning dove, top right the state bird of Ohio the Cardinal, lower left a Grackle, and lower right the Red bellied woodpecker, and in between of course the ubiquitous grey squirrel!
