This map shows an incredible detail
and distracted me today of my dental procedure and the sad result. I was happy the dentist could take me in to relieve me of the pain, but this brave little soldier who had served me for 70 years could not be salvaged so we had to part ways. On the other side of the planet my oldest granddaughter, 6 years old, had problems of letting go her seventh tooth in her upper front row, ( that is quite a lot of emptiness in that little mouth) got upset and fell on the hard edge of a sand box with her chin. After much misery they went to emergency room with her as she could not stop vomiting, probably a concussion . Docs kept her there (and my daughter) for observation.
I will hopefully visit Genève this fall and I am looking forward to it. I spent my first semester after the Highschool graduation there and it was a wonderful time. Far away from my severe and limiting father I enjoyed learning a new language, in a beautiful town. I lived in my first dorm room, new friends from 5 different countries, parties , concerts and walks near the lake.
I was very happy there.
I am curious to see whether I can still find l‘école des interprètes in the university building.
Until then I keep fingers crossed that my legs behave then as well as now so I can walk through all the long and beautiful streets.
