Blue bell woods

Our walk took us along part of the river Ayr pathway near Failford gorge. It was quite challenging tonight and the rain made underfoot a bit slippery coming back down the slopes.
I was disappointed we weren't nearer the river but the bluebells were still out and I didn't realise until tonight that they had a fragrance about them. Lots of wild garlic as well.
