Life in a Northern Town

Up Hill and Down Dale

My plan for the geocaching walk didn’t fully take into account the topography, so we spent a lot of time scrambling down steep hills and climbing up mountains - well, 400m, which seemed pretty mountainous to us. I managed to turn my ankle and was envisioning a call out from Mountain Rescue but after a rest it was ok. My orienteering Blip pals would disown me after it then turned out the route was perhaps twice as long as I’d advertised it to be, due to my assumption that there’d be a path where there wasn’t.

As we neared the end, an ice cream van turned up in the car park, so I was forgiven. This is us within sight of a 99 (with juice of course).
